Proper Smoked Kippers, done the old-fashioned way. These beauties come from H. Forman & Son in London – a fourth-generation smokehouse that’s been perfecting the art since 1905. The herring are landed at the Port of Lancaster, lightly salted, and gently smoked over oak for that unmistakably rich, smoky depth.

Full of flavour and British heritage, they're just the thing for a hearty breakfast, brunch, or delicious stock. Serve hot from the pan with a knob of butter, or pile onto buttered brown bread.

Cooking instructions
Can be pan-fried with butter on a medium heat for 6-8 minutes or can be oven baked at 145F for 8-10 minutes.
Storage & shelf-life information
Keep refrigerated. Kippers will last a minimum of 14 days unopened. Product is freezable for up to 3 months.
