Sometimes you want the fancy stuff, but mostly what you actually want is that familiar, bright-yellow, unmistakably Bird’s custard poured generously over whatever pudding happens to be nearest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe already sell the big tubs, despite their frankly unreasonable determination to make shipping difficult. But you lovely people kept asking for these sachets as well, and now we understand why.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is Bird’s Instant Custard: one sachet, just add boiling water, stir, and you have custard. The packet says it serves three, which is probably true, although on certain evenings that can feel unnecessarily judgemental.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNo milk. No sugar. No saucepan. Unless you want to. Frankly almost no planning whatsoever.
